Apex Legends is an insanely fun and addictive game that has swept the gaming world and been at the epicenter for quite some time now with its counterpart ‘Fortnite’ also being super popular among gamers. As many have heard, Season 2 will be arriving in the game on July 2nd with some big changes.

The big changes

According to an article from Forbes, one of the key changes that will be coming to Apex will be to the main map called Kings Canyon with dinosaurs. Yes, dinosaurs. Respawn has already made some additions with being able to shoot down winged creatures that drop loot boxes around the map. As seen in the latest trailers, more winged creatures and dinosaurs will be wreaking havoc on the map. One of the latest trailers all around shows some of the characters such as Octane, Mirage, Bangalore, and others fighting for position before dinosaurs and winged creatures descend destruction.

One of the other notable additions coming to Apex Legends is Wattson, a new playable character who has electric abilities and is a sharpshooter. The second trailer released below shows off her abilities with being able to set traps to take out enemies or shoot them down from far range. Other new items coming to season 2 includes skydiving emotes and being able to be taken out by creatures in the open world.

Engaging content

Respawn seems to have listened to fans complaints about the lack of content as its competitor Fortnite gets updates frequently with added items. It seems that there is a lot to look forward to with the new season of Apex Legends. Regardless of the fact, Apex Legends stands as one of the most popular games of the year and it only helps that it is free-to-play.

What has made the game so great is the fact that anyone can choose any character they want with their own abilities and special attacks. It favors team contribution and working together as a unit to win. Now, if only the server errors could be fixed in the next update, then we will be in business. Be sure to check out season 2 of Apex Legends on July 2.
