Six Masters 2019 Announced by Ubisoft For Australia And New Zealand Region

Fans of Rainbow Six Siege living in Australia and New Zealand will be excited to know that the Six Masters will return in 2019. That’s right! The 2019thedition of the Six Masters has been announced by Ubisoft and it will be a part of Melbourne Esports Open. Esports teams living in the region have been eagerly waiting to see a new tournament. Now they will be able to participate in the biggest Rainbow Six Siege tournament of their country.

Six Teams Have Been Invited

Ubisoft and ESL have confirmed that various teams have been invited to the tournament. However, the organizers have only invited six notable teams, while the remaining six will be selected through a qualifier round which will take place from May 12thto June 2nd.

Those who are interested in participating in this tournament can apply with their team through the ESL Portal. Keep in mind that there should be no player in your team whose age is less than 15.

12 Teams Will Compete in The Second Round

After the qualifiers, a total of 12 teams will be finalized for the tournament. These teams will then compete in an online tournament which will be split into two groups. Each group will consist of six teams and they will have to follow a best-of-three format. This round will be held from June 22ndto July 21st, and a total of 8 teams will proceed to the finals after this round.

Six Masters 2019 Finals

The finals of the Six Masters 2019 will start on August 31stat the Melbourne Esports Open. Although Ubisoft is yet to reveal the details about the prize money, we can expect it to be a big amount since the tournament is currently believed to be the largest Rainbow Six Siege event of the country.
