President Donald Trump took on his favorite cable news network this week. In a tweet, he commented on a recent town hall event featuring 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.
“So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on [Fox News],” he wrote. “Not surprisingly, [moderator Bret Baier] and the ‘audience’ was so smiley and nice.”
So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on @FoxNews. Not surprisingly, @BretBaier and the “audience” was so smiley and nice. Very strange, and now we have @donnabrazile?

He continued with a remark regarding the network’s hire of the former Democratic National Committee chairwoman.
“Very strange, and now we have [Donna Brazile]?” Trump tweeted.
Baier replied to the tweet with one of his own.
“Thanks for watching Mr. President,” he wrote.
Thanks for watching Mr. President – we’d love to have you on a town hall soon — or even an interview on @SpecialReport —it’s been awhile. We cover all sides. https://t.co/1EDeWFhNe7

The “Special Report” anchor invited the president for a town hall event or an interview “soon.”
He said it had “been awhile” since Trump appeared.
“We cover all sides,” Baier affirmed.
