Drone litters college campus with Nazi propaganda, flyers denouncing ‘fake news’

A group at California State University Sacramento this week were bombarded by offensive literature.

The ‘Bites on the Bridge’ event was interrupted when a drone flew overhead and dropped the flyers.

Photos posted to social media reveal the papers were covered with images of swastikas. The images were surrounded with text denouncing “the TV whore takeover” and “fake news.”

Echoing President Donald Trump’s rhetoric, the leaflets reportedly called members of the press “the enemy.”

The university’s president issued a statement on the incident.

“Sacramento State condemns in the strongest terms the dissemination of hate speech and propaganda Friday evening at our annual fundraising dinner on the Guy West Bridge,” Robert S. Nelsen said. “The anonymous act of spreading such vile material is offensive and runs counter to the principles of inclusion and diversity practiced at Sac State. It did not stop the event, nor will it slow our march toward greater understanding and commitment to the rights and safety of our campus community.”
