Authorities in the New York say a man has been arrested on pending criminal charges after allegedly breaking into the Queens office of U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

NYPD spokesperson George Tsourovakas claimed the 31-year-old suspect sprayed the contents of a fire extinguisher upon entering, causing a “cloud condition” inside the office. The man was allegedly in possession of a broken bottle and retreated to a utility closet when officers approached.

The congresswoman was not in the building at the time of the incident and there were no reports of related injuries.
