Authorities in New York City are looking for a total of three suspects after a brutal home invasion on Saturday evening.

Reports indicate two armed men forced their way into the residence in Queens at about 9:30 p.m.

Eight people — a group of all females including one child — were in the home at the time, police say.

Reports indicate one man produced a pistol and sexually assaulted a 34-year-old woman. Her 54-year-old mother was one of the seven victims reportedly being held in another room during the attack.

The pair of intruders also ransacked the residence for valuables, making off with more than $8,000, investigators believe. A third subject is suspected of acting as an accomplice to the crime.

Police say they fled the scene in two light-colored cars. One was a sedan and the other identified as a late-model Mercedes Benz E-Class.

Investigators do not believe the intruders knew the victims.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel rushed the assaulted victim to an area hospital. She remained hospitalized in stable condition as of the latest updates available.
