‘No one deserves that’: Chicago mayor speaks out against waitress accused of spitting on Eric Trump

The mayor of Chicago has denounced the actions of a restaurant server in the city accused of spitting on Eric Trump.

Reports claim the incident occurred at The Aviary on Tuesday evening.

In a statement this week, Lori Lightfoot, a Democrat, said such alleged behavior has no place in society.

“You cross the line when you assault someone,” she said. “No one deserves that. No one.”

Lightfoot even praised President Donald Trump’s son for being “very gracious” and declining to press charges.
