One of the 10 presidential hopefuls who took the stage for Thursday’s debate in Miami said his microphone was routinely turned off when he attempted to make a point.

In comments after the debate, Andrew Yang complained that he was not being heard at critical points in the spirited discourse.

“There were also a few times, FYI, where I just started talking, being like, ‘Hey, I want to add something there,’ and my mic was not on,” he said.

Yang, who ended up with less than three minutes of speaking time at the far low end of the scale, was obviously displeased.

“It’s like I was talking, but nothing was happening,” he said. “And it was like, ‘Oh f***.’ So that happened a bit, too.”
