In response to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent reported conversation with top Democrats, Fox News host Sean Hannity had some tough words for the California Democrat.

Sources recalled that Pelosi said she would rather see President Donald Trump “in prison” than impeached.

While Hannity cast the comments as “beyond despicable” and worthy of “banana republics,” many others in the media revisited his position in recent years publicly favoring the imprisonment of political figures.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner in the Complete Lack of Self-Awareness Contest,” tweeted David Corn of Mother Jones. “Please, no more entries.”

He shared a previous post from MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin.

Maggie Haberman of The New York Times chimed in: “‘Lock her up!’ has been the chant at whose rallies?”
