The president took a familiar posture against a recurring foe with his Twitter tirade aimed at the Washington Post this weekend.
Donald Trump began with a tweet calling out the venerable newspaper directly.
“The Washington Post Story, about my speech in North Carolina and tweet, with its phony stories who do not exist, is Fake News,” he claimed. “The only thing people were talking about is the record setting crowd and the tremendous enthusiasm, far greater than the Democrats. You’ll see in 2020!”
That post was followed moments later by a pithier Twitter exclamation.
“Presidential Harassment!” he fumed.
A minute after that, Trump added his familiar 2016 campaign slogan — in all caps.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
