After disgraced investment banker Jeffrey Epstein was hit with new sex-trafficking charges, some of his high-profile friends — including former President Bill Clinton and current President Donald Trump — came under additional scrutiny.

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to charges related to solicitation of minors for sex in exchange for a reduced sentence.

For his part, Clinton put out a public statement through a spokesperson on Monday.

“President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York.”

The statement went on to confirm that the two men “took a total of four trips” on the financier’s private jet. Flight logs, however, put that number at more than 12.
