‘They should apologize to America’: Trump launches a new offensive in Twitter war on progressive congresswomen

Following more than a week of controversy surrounding his continued verbal attacks on four congresswomen of color, President Donald Trump opted to continue the controversial rhetoric many critics have deemed racist.

“I don’t believe the four Congresswomen are capable of loving our Country,” he wrote in reference to the incoming progressive Democrats.

Ignoring calls for his own mea culpa over rhetoric and an offensive rally chant he allowed to continue for 13 seconds last week, Trump asserted that the targets of that rage should be the ones to say they’re sorry.

“They should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things they have said,” the president tweeted. “They are destroying the Democrat Party, but are weak & insecure people who can never destroy our great Nation!”
