After the Joe Biden presidential campaign called out Donald Trump over comments he made in Japan, the president claimed he was actually “sticking up for” the former vice president by calling him a “low IQ individual.”
Trump had echoed the sentiment of North Korea’s dictator during his international trip.
“Kim Jong Un made a statement that Joe Biden is a low-IQ individual,” the president said. “He probably is, based on his record. I think I agree with him on that.”
A Biden campaign statement released upon Trump’s arrival back on U.S. soil bashed the president’s international attack on the presidential contender. Trump attempted to deny he had disparaged Biden, since he slightly altered Kim’s quote.
I was actually sticking up for Sleepy Joe Biden while on foreign soil. Kim Jong Un called him a “low IQ idiot,” and many other things, whereas I related the quote of Chairman Kim as a much softer “low IQ individual.” Who could possibly be upset with that?
