John Hart Project – Live at Pensacola Beach
It was a nice breezy evening on Pensacola Beach and quite a crowd had gathered for the weekly live music session on the beach. Its a great location, folks bring their beach chairs and picnic during the show.
Many folks opt to set their chairs up on the sand with the gulf breeze to their backs. Its a great time, the sand , the salty sea air and live music. There is always a crowd of folks up front dancing to the beat. It is fun to watch people cut a rug at the beach. Swaying to the beat and tapping their bare feet to the rhythm, senior citizens enjoying the evening while visiting the area. It’s hard not to get swept up in all the energy up front. so many people seem like they are reliving their younger days, head back, eyes closed and moving to the beat.
You can usually find a sponsor or two at their vendor booth, sometimes they are cooking up a feat other times they are just passing out literature. Lots of colorful characters wandered the beach that evening.
The music was nice. The band plays a cross between blues and just some awesome guitar picking. Hart is a Florida based musician, and an acclaimed guitar player all along the East Coast and Gulf Coast. His finger picking and blues influence can definitely be heard during his live performance. It was a great time. It was a big crowd for a Tuesday night; while we are still in the off season.
You can catch another live performance tonight 5/3/19 at Aj’s Grayton Beach Bar at 9p.m.
5/4 Grand Boulevard in Sandestin 7 pm
5/5 The Beach Club in Perdido Key 1 pm
See you there.
