From Wikipedia, An Explanation Of The Times:
“An exploitation film is a film that attempts to succeed financially by exploiting current trends, niche genres, or lurid content. Exploitation films are generally low-quality “B movies“.They sometimes attract critical attention and cult followings. Some of these films, such as Night of the Living Dead (1968), set trends and become historically important“
It is with this expression that Legends of cult films are made. With that said the artist creates the caricature the background and everything else needed for a terrifying experience at the Cineplex, or on late-night TV, and of course Netflix or any other network.
My friend here in town who works as a Local artist (Eric Lopez) and creates art is a trend in how popular these films have become, and souvenirs and references can help an artist make his living. the Savage Artist in Tucson, and on these video’s his Daughter Aleah Lopez does the music.
These Millennials love scary movies even more than Gen X, my group. That’s hard to believe.
I recently caught up with Eric at our Local Swap Meet here in town with his daughter and friend.
If you have an interest in young Aleah’s music in the videos, contact Eric, they could work something out, (interesting sidenote about Aleah, she is sort of a local chess legend), she also does nice Rock paintings.
Eric’s knives were a request from a fan, that became a great seller. One of Eric’s profitable items is requests or commissions, make a request hell make it for a price, contact as alway’s on facebook.
