Neon Artist Chris Bleicher feels glad and honored to be displaying her colorful neon art at the PEACE AGAIN festival featuring 283 artists from 63 nations at the Haegeumgang Theme Museum in Geoje (Korea) now. On this occasion Chris won the Honorary Award of the category “Sculpture”. The Jeongeup Mayor Award was appointed by the Mayor of Jeongeup City as appreciation for her contribution to the development of international culture and arts.

Then the PEACE AGAIN exhibition goes on tour in Korea. After the exhibition at the Haegeumgang Theme Museum, the 7th Geoje International Art Festival—which was planned as a national tour—is scheduled to be exhibited at the KimBoSeong Art Center in Seoul and the Living Culture Center in Jeongeup City, and finally the exhibition ends at the Yeosu Art Museum.

The 7th Geoje International Art Festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Gyeongsangnam-do, Geoje City, International Museum Association, Korea Museums Association, Korea Private Museum Association, Gyeongsangnam-do Museums Association, and Korea Artists Association.
Chris Bleicher from Germany is with her neon art also part of a parallel exhibition entitled “3 Artists 3 Colors” with Elsa Victorios of Columbia and the USA and Heidi Fosli of Norway. This show is at the KimBoSeong Art Center in Seoul, Korea. It’s a big honor for these three artists to be chosen to represent the PEACE AGAIN exhibition for the Haegeumgang Museum in Seoul.
Apart from above, on Sept. 12, 2021, Chris was part of the inauguration in Imperia City, Italy, with an International Art Project “Una Mattonella al Parasio” (A Parasio Tile) featuring the tiles of 62 artists along a historic wall through the city. Chris donated a tile with the letters PEACE in different world languages. Around this same time, Chris was named as a cultural ambassador for Germany which is a diplomatic title. Museum director Cheon Eob YU from the Haegeumgang Theme Museum initiated the title.
Chris has also been officially recognized by ICOM ASPAC which provides a forum for the exchange of information and collaboration between museums and museum experts in the 24 participating national committees in the Asia-Pacific region.
