“Together/Unidos” are joint new singles in English and Spanish by musical artist Twinkle who had been described as “Lady Gaga for kids.” A Peruvian-American, Twinkle is proud of the powerful and positive message of unification in her new songs. She collaborated with bilingual rapper MC Magic and sax artist Israel “Izzi Def” Hall to bring her EDM-glam music to life via songs and fun music videos.
Twinkle has been in show business since she was a child. She has a background in musical theater, commercials, and voiceovers. As she entered her tweens and teens, she landed roles on television series such as “Sanchez of Bel Air” and “My Two Dads.”
In 2000, Twinkle formed a girl band called Nobody’s Angel, which was quickly signed by Hollywood Records and released their debut album that year. Nobody’s Angel went on to open for Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys and their songs appeared on the soundtracks of major movies like “The Parent Trap,” “The Wedding Planner,” “102 Dalmatians,” and “Pokémon.” In 2002, the band earned greater acclaim when they won a Gold Record for two songs featured on “The Princess Diaries” soundtrack.
Twinkle’s first language was Spanish and she incorporates both Spanish and English into each of her performances and projects. She hopes her new singles will bring people together in a joyous way.
