It’s been 11 years since the Duggar family took TLC by storm with their hit show 16 Kids and Counting, boosting viewer ratings to unimaginable heights for a channel known for delivering real-life dramas. Jim and Michelle Duggar’s story was embraced by millions with its 10th and final season being one of the highest-rated show in the station’s history.
Now, the show is back, but just as Counting On. This focuses on the older children in the Duggar family.
Today, if you look for the Duggars you’ll find everything has remained somewhat the same. Each older child with their significant other has followed in their parent’s footsteps growing their individual families. A far cry from most millennials who have decided to put marriage and children on hold in search of more fulling experiences rather than feeling confined to one role. The Duggars make parenting look effortless with smiles on their faces showing their hopes and joy for the next new members. The oldest few kids of Jim and Michelle Duggar have kept up with the old traditional big family.
This year, viewers of Counting On can expect to see three little new Duggar’s make their world debut sometime this fall. Jim Bob and Michelle are head over heels excited for the little bundles of joy.
It is a great surprise these Duggars aren’t having boys, but instead, three little Duggars in pink are coming soon. There is also a lot of speculation that Abbie Duggar will announce a pregnancy. She has been avoiding Instagram for a while now. Big changes are in store for the Duggar family. Luckily, they are all used to having a lot of toddlers and babies around.
Make sure you don’t miss new episodes of Counting On when they air on TLC. So far, they haven’t announced the actual return date for the show.
