First-day first-show public response

A remake of Korean film

The original movie has a similar plot where the story revolves around a man living through the historic events in Korean history. ‘Ode to My Father’ was directed by Yoon Je-kyoon and was released in late 2014.

It was the fourth highest grossing movie in the history of the Korean cinema. Considering the success of the original, Bharat is also expected to make a huge mark at the box office.

Salman Khan, over the years, has racked up some huge numbers at the box-office. Even though his last two releases, Race 3 and Tubelight didn’t go down well with the critics, they ended up making much more money than the budget of the movie.

Watch trailer

Bharat is all the more expected to do well, as it brings back Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar back together.

The actor-director duo has previously given two blockbusters, Sultan in 2016 and Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. The soulful and entertaining songs from the movie are composed by the hit duo of Vishal-Shekhar.

The movie is made on a budget of INR 100 Crores and looking at the impressive teaser, trailer, and songs of the movie, it seems “Bharat” will earn big bucks at the box office and could possibly become the biggest hit of the year yet.
