Kedar Jadhav ruled out with injury

Kedar Jadhav suffered an injury in the last league match for CSK and has been ruled out of the tournament. Dhruv Shorey is most likely to replace him in the lineup. Other than this, Chennai might not make any further changes to the side. Mitchell Santner could come back into the side in place of Shane Watson or Dwayne Bravo, even though the possibility is low.

Strong Mumbai aim to upset Chennai’s rhythm

Mumbai Indians would be tempted to bring back Evin Lewis in place of Ishan Kishan but this could mean that they would have to drop Mitchell McClenaghan. Anukul Roy hasn’t played in a lot of matches this season but bringing him would add to Mumbai’s spin bowling unit on a Chennai pitch which assists the spinners. Other than this, there won’t be any changes to the side.

The Chennai pitch has been turning square since the very first match this season. That situation won’t change but there could be a possibility of good enough runs on the board in this crucial match. The weather should be fine and there could be some dew.
