South Africa win toss and bat first
South Africa comfortably defeated Sri Lanka in their first warm-up match by 87 runs. This will be a significant boost for the team. Incidentally, South Africa have played all the last six ODIs against Sri Lanka.

So, today, they will have the taste of another team and will be out of a specific comfort zone for sure. Sri Lanka as a team is no ideal set up, and the West Indies will be a real test for South Africa. With in-form Hasim Amla and Faf du Plessis, the seamer Andile Phehlukwayo can be the game changer.
On the other hand, West Indies will start their World Cup campaign with this warm-up match finally. They have done a commendable job earlier this year by restricting the No.1 team to a 2-2 draw. They have also made it to the finals of the tri-series against Bangladesh and Ireland. For Chris Gayle and Andre Russell, this will be a good test for in the 50-over format post IPL. Overall, we can undoubtedly expect an excellent encounter.
Pitch and Weather:
The pitch at Bristol is generally good enough to bat on. But it can undoubtedly provide exciting stuff for the seamers if the weather gets a bit cloudy.
Overall, a gloomy day, although there is very less chance of rain.
