India’s batting issues

India’s batting faltered in the first warm-up match against New Zealand on Saturday, but they will have a chance to correct it against Bangladesh.

The Indian team was unable to produce good cricket as their batting line-up failed badly, the top order batsmen hurt them the most, they only managed to get 22 runs against New Zealand.

The warm-up matches started with upsets as Australia beat England and India was beaten by New Zealand. The failure of the top 3 batsmen had a ripple effect on the rest of the line-up.

Their opponent Bangladesh is fresh to play their next match as their previous game was abandoned by rain. They are ready enough to play their opponent and put a decent total on the leaderboard. Bangladesh will be participating in the World Cup banking on their unbeaten run in the tri-series against Ireland and Windies.

The Tigers, on the contrary, would be disappointed after their opening practice game against Pakistan didn’t see a single ball being bowled due to persistent rain. Bangladesh will try to start their tour with a win.
