Mike Bloomberg Can’t Be POTUS Because He Won’t Apologize For ‘White Male Privilege’

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg decided not to run for U.S. president in 2020 because of his age and his refusal to move to the far-left politically in order to appease the increasingly leftist Democrat Party.

Another factor that played a major role was the billionaire’s reluctance to go on a groveling “apology tour” where he’d be required to apologize for being a white male.

That’s de rigueur in American politics today if you’re a white male Democrat. Just ask New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who recently apologized for paying for oral sex at a massage parlor.

‘Biden Apologized for Being Male, Over 50 and White’

“I just couldn’t see a path to where I could get the nomination,” Bloomberg said (see video, starting at 0:53). “It’s just not going to happen on a national level for somebody like me, starting where I am, unless I was willing to change all my views and go on what CNN called ‘an apology tour.'”

Bloomberg continued: “Joe Biden went out and apologized for being male, over 50, white. He apologized for the one piece of legislation which is actually a pretty good anti-crime bill. If the liberals ever read it, most of the things they like would be in that bill. They should have loved that. But they didn’t even bother to read it. If you’re anti-crime, [liberals think] you must be anti-populist.”

‘Beto Apologized for Being Born’

Bloomberg then good-naturedly mocked Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, a former U.S. Congressman from Texas who lost his 2018 Senate race to incumbent Ted Cruz.

“Beto — whatever his name is — he apologized for being born,” said Bloomberg, as the audience erupted in laughter. “I don’t mean to be unkind. A lot of people love him and say he’s a smart guy. And some day if he wins, I’d certainly support him.”

Robert Francis O’Rourke: I’m Sorry I’m a White Man

O’Rourke announced his candidacy last week, and — like clockwork — immediately apologized for his white male privilege.

“As a white man who has had privileges that others could not depend on, or take for granted, I’ve clearly had advantages over the course of my life,” O’Rourke told NBC News during a campaign stop in Iowa.

Mike Bloomberg, 77, is a moderate Independent who caucuses with the Democrats. As a three-term NYC mayor from 2002 to 2013, he was widely praised for reducing crime, homelessness, and bolstering the local economy.

Michael Bloomberg — whose net worth tops $56 billion — is the co-founder of the Bloomberg media company, which employs 19,000 people.

Bloomberg is a stark contrast to the lazy communist currently occupying the NYC mayor’s office now: the corrupt and unpopular Bill de Blasio.
