Ocasio-Cortez Gets Dragged for Racist Use of Ebonics and Condescending Pandering

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was dragged on social media for her pandering use of racist, condescending ebonics.

Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez got mocked for her racist, condescending use of ebonics and a faux Southern accent while pandering to a predominantly black audience on April 5.

During a speech at Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network conference, Ocasio-Cortez used the terms “ain’t” and “y’all,” and talked like a Southern preacher while trying to ingratiate herself with a black audience.

‘Ain’t Nuthin’ Wrong With Dat!’

The embarrassing spectacle was caught on a cringeworthy video, where AOC and fellow Democrats pledged support for slavery reparations.

“This is what organizing looks like. This is what building power looks like,” Ocasio-Crazy said in a fake Southern drawl. “This is what changing the country looks like.”

AOC Thinks Black People Only Do Menial Labor

Ocasio-Cortez’s laughable speech got even worse because she assumed that black people only work as waiters, housekeepers, and bus drivers.

Keep in mind that the current Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Donald Trump is Dr. Ben Carson — a world-renowned African-American brain surgeon.

But Ocasio-Cortez was certain that her black audience had no doctors or lawyers, so she tried to “relate to” them by discussing her most recent job as a bartender.

“I’m proud to be a bartender,” Ocasio-Cortez chirped in an affected Southern drawl. “Ain’t nuthin’ wrong with that. There’s nuthin’ wrong with working retail, folding clothes for other people to buy. There is nuthin’ wrong with preparing the food that your neighbors will eat. There is nuthin’ wrong with driving the buses that take your family to work.”

Twitter Drags Ocasio-Cortez for Being a Phony Racist

The self-declared socialist then went off-message when she praised hard work to advance oneself — a basic tenet of capitalism.

“There is nuthin’ wrong with being a working person in the United States of America, and there is everything dignified about it,” AOC cooed.

Yes, proud American capitalists agree — they work hard and are proud of their efforts.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was immediately mocked on Twitter for assuming that she needs to resort to ebonics instead of using grammatically correct English just because she’s addressing a black audience.

One woman tweeted: “Why do y’all think you have to speak anything but proper when addressing black people??? Disgusting. No excuse.”

Another added: “Every African-American does not talk in this way.”

‘You Have a Serious Problem’

Still others pointed out to AOC that black people are not just waiters and bus drivers.

One young man underscored: “Me and every other black person can do more than just a bartender, a retail worker, a waiter or a bus driver. If this is all you think black people can do, you have a serious problem.”

One person recalled a Yale University study that showed that liberals deliberately dumb down their vocabulary when speaking to black people, while conservatives do not.

That sure sounds racist and bigoted.

Conservative firebrand Candace Owens also torched AOC.

Others said AOC’s transparent pandering reminded them of when Hillary Clinton used an affected Southern accent while speaking to a black audience.

All this confirms that today’s virtue-signaling leftists are the real racists underneath their phony SJW veneer.

Poll Numbers Tank, Thanks to AOC’s Epic Dumbness

While Ocasio-Cortez is one of the most high-profile Democratic lawmakers in the United States today, her poll numbers have tanked as people get more familiar with her.

As HVY reported, only 23 percent of Americans hold a favorable view of AOC.

Moreover, a meager 33 percent of Americans believe Ocasio Cortez has been good for the Democratic Party, while 36 percent say she has been bad for the party.

That’s probably why Ocasio-Cortez made the April Fools’ issue of Time magazine.
