That’s right GoT fans. There are only two episodes left of the epic Game of Thrones series by producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Yes, there’s talk about spinoffs and what we will be watching next. My recommendation is the upcoming Wheel of Time series that is supposed to begin production in the fall. Rafe Judkins is slated to write it. He is most famous for his work on the 11th season of Survivor, but is a credited writer on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.

You really can’t do much to beat the writing of Robert Jordan, who wrote the popular Wheel of Time series. I will always say that I much prefer the work of David Eddings, however, I am partial. I know that he did say that his series would not be brought to the screen during his lifetime. Lucky for us, he is gone. Believe me, I do feel horrible for writing that. You are reading the work of someone who waited years for X-Men to get to the screen.

The second to last episode of Game of Thrones will debut this Sunday, May 12, on HBO. Check your local listings for times. There are multiple platforms to catch up to the season if you haven’t already. Those include HBO NOW, HBO GO and HBO On Demand.

There are only two episodes left, and I know I will miss this series.
