Dancer, singer, and actress Jennifer Lopez (pictured) has a fabulous new job lined up for herself going into the upcoming year.

Lopez, 50, started her career in entertainment as backup dancer for the pop music group “New Kids on the Block” in 1991. After this opportunity dissolved, Lopez appeared in a role as one of the “Fly Girls” on the popular 1990s-era comedy show In Living Color. In 1993, Lopez went on to pursue acting.

In the last months of her In Living Color gig, Lopez was also a backup dancer for pop super-songstress Janet Jackson. She was even a part of Jackson’s Janet World Tour, which was kicked off in late 1993. Much later in her career, Lopez would ascend to heights as a pop songstress in her own right who was competing on the music charts against Jackson.

Lopez’s career as an actress really took off after her appearance in the biopic Selena. Lopez (of Puerto Rican descent) played the lead role in this film and depicted the deceased Mexican pop singing legend beautifully. However, all along the way, one of America’s most illustrious vixens in pop culture has been a fan of Coach luxury accessories.

After donning bags and giving the company unofficial endorsements as a high-end connoisseur, Coach has rewarded Lopez. She has been granted a strategic ambassadorship within the framework of Coach’s global marketing department. According to, Coach has named Lopez as the face of its Spring 2020 ad campaign.

“I’m so excited for this collaboration with Coach. It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style –– an uptown downtown mix,” Lopez announced on Instagram Tuesday (November 19).

Coach had mutual words of admiration for the gorgeous American Music Award winner.

“Jennifer is so authentic. She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way — she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign,” said Coach creative director Stuart Vevers in an official statement.
