Listen to live music all weekend!
TuneIn is partnering with the Newport Folk Festival the Life Is Beautiful Music and Art Festival and more
According to a recent press release, the world’s leading global live audio streaming company just announced its official 2019 Festival live stream lineup. Founded in 2014, TuneIn has worked with several large U.S. music festivals, providing music fans around the world with the “best seats in the house” for live concerts, personal interviews and more.
This year TuneIn began their festival roster this past May with Atlanta’s annual Shaky Knees Music Festival. TuneIn will both launch and host the official dedicated live stream stations for the popular Life Is Beautiful Music & Art Festival, and the famous Newport Folk Festival. Every unique station begins broadcasting months before each event with live, human-hosted 24/7 streams to help music lovers prep for each festival.
Listeners will hear music from previous years’ performers and even current line-ups in heavy rotation. TuneIn will also be broadcasting on-site at each event focusing on specific audio-only live performances. They will also go behind the scenes to provide listeners with in-depth, artist interviews.
The various festival stations will be promoted over the TuneIn app to an active monthly audience base of roughly 75 million users. The service is also accessible in any connected home via such smart speakers as Bose SoundTouch, SONOS and also by such voice assistants as Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa.
Newport Folk Radio
Newport Folk Radio is live now, as a team from TuneIn preps to live stream certain sets from July 26th through July 28th from beautiful Fort Adams State Park located in Newport, Rhode Island.
There are several acts already confirmed for the live stream broadcast. They include Black Belt Eagle Scout, Dawes, EB the Younger, Gregory Alan Isakov, Jade Bird, Jeff Tweedy, Lake Street Dive, Lukas Nelson, The Nude Party, Parker Millsap, Phosphorescent, Rayland Baxter, and more.
Jay Sweet, Executive Producer Newport Festivals Foundation, said: “On behalf of the entire festival crew, I’d like to extend a thank you to TuneIn for being our official station and live steam partner. It’s no easy task to capture the vibe and energy of Newport Folk and broadcast it to our fans outside the festival grounds.”
He concluded: “We’re grateful to have a partner who gets ‘it’ and shares a common goal of getting more good music into more eardrums.”
